In Japan, parking is strictly regulated. Including bicycles.
先週の木曜日、私は知らなくて、不注意で自転車が駐車禁止の場所で置いてしまいました。
On Thursday of last week, because of my carelessness, I didn’t know that the place where I had parked my bicycle is a forbidden area.
その日の朝、私は遠鉄ビルの後ろに自転車を駐車しました。バスで駅から会社まで行って、またバスで会社から駅に戻った後、学校へ歩きました。学校が終わってから、先輩の家へ行きました。そして自転車で帰ろうと思い、駐車したところまで戻ったら、自転車がありませんでした。
In that morning I parked my bicycle behind the Entetsu building. Then I went to work, and came back to the station by bus. And I walked to school. After school I went to a friend's house, near the school. But when I got back to take my bicycle, I didn’t see it anymore.
私は心配になりました。自転車をこのとき失ったと思いました。これは会社の自転車なので、私は社長に電話をして自転車を無くしましたと報告をしました。
At that time I was very worried, I thought that I lost the bicycle. Because this is a company bicycle, so I had called my boss and report him that I had lost the bicycle, and asked him what should I do.
日本で、自転車を買うとき、自転車の番号を登録する手続きを行います。この登録番号は、無くした自転車を見つけるのに役立ちます。
In Japan, when buying a bicycle, you have to register for your bicycle number. This registration number will help you find your bicycle in case it was lost.
翌日、会社に行ったとき、高橋さんは登録用紙を持って、自転車を預かってくれる保管センターに行ってくれました。 私は自転車を間違って駐車していたので、警察が来て自転車を回収しました。会社は2000円の罰金を払わなければなりませんでした。
In a day after, when I got to the company, Mr. Takahashi bring registration papers and went to the storage area to bring it back . Since I parked my bicycle incorrectly, the police had come and took my bicycle away. Company had to pay a penalty , 2000 yen.
私はとても申し訳なかったです。 これは決して忘れてはいけない経験です。 自転車を禁止された場所に２度と駐車しないよう気を付けます。自転車を取りに行ってくれた高橋さんありがとうございます。
I am very sorry for my carelessness. This will be an experience I will never forget. I will never park my bicycle in banned places.Takahashi-san thank you for bringing back the bicycle for me.
皆さんも注意しましょう。自分の 不注意が周囲の誰にも迷惑をかけないように。
